Oman Cement Company To Build New 5,000 TPD Plant In Duqm, Issues EPC Tender

Oman Cement Company (OCC) announced that it has issued an engineering, procurement and construction contract (EPC) to establish a hashtag#cement factory in Duqm, Oman, which will be operated by the firm’s subsidiary Al Sahawa Cement Company.

In a stock market filing, the company said that the plant will have a capacity of 5,000 tonnes per day.

The project will be implemented as a “backward integration mode” where cement will be initially produced by Al Sahawa Cement Company and its cement would be available to the market by September 2021, said the company.
