How to Judge The Quality of Refractories?

As is known to us, the characteristic of refractories produced by different manufacturers are different.It is important to judge the quality of refractories. Then, how to judge the quality of refractories quickly?

1.Appearance color

The uniformity of brick color indicates whether the material is evenly mixed during the production.Uneven distribution of materials results in uneven distribution of refractory strength, reducing the overall strength and working life of refractories.

2.Appearance lubrication
The poor appearance of brick lubrication indicates that the quality of brick is not good.

3.Surface impurity
The black spots on the surface of bricks are the impurities in raw materials. Theoretically, the less the impurities, the better. Because most of these impurities are iron oxides that are easy to be reduced to molten iron flow out, forming the damage of brick structure, and then affecting the service life of brick in the high temperature environment of the furnace.
